Two core teams are at work for the Forest Resources HCP, one comprised of TWRA staff from Region III and the other with staff from Region IV.

Work with the Core Teams to evaluate feasibility of HCP components

Species Working Groups

Advise the Core Team on species-specific questions

Mussels, Bats, Blackside Dace, Mammals, Warblers, Amphibians, Reptiles, Mollusks, Plants, and Crayfish Working Groups

Science Advisory Committee

Provide guidance to the Core Teams on species conservation priorities, threats to species, conservation strategies, and other scientific aspects of the HCPs

Comprised of scientists, agency personnel, graduate students, and other technical experts.  The Science Advisory Committee advises both HCPs.

Project Management Team

Manages activities of all HCP committees and teams. See Contact Us page for more information. 

United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS)

Responsible for issuing an Incidental Take Permit consistent with an approved Habitat Conservation Plan.
